My journey into the world of craftsmanship has been a profound and natural progression, rooted in my upbringing in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Surrounded by skilled artisans, I found inspiration in my grandmother, a master weaver of traditional Ayutthaya hats, and my father, a talented woodcarver and artist. Their influence ignited my passion for creating with my hands and instilled in me the belief thatartistry is a powerful legacy.
From an early age, I discovered joy in building treehouses, racing Tamiya cars, and transforming discarded materials into musical instruments. The challenges faced by my family, who lived with modest means, instilled a strong work ethic and the convic- tion that perseverance can turn dreams into reality. Each obstacle became a valuable lesson,reinforcing the idea that with enough determination.onecan achieve great things.
During my university years, I pursued a degree in graphic design, whichfurther nurtured my creative spirit.My fascination with vintage aesthetics blossomed as I delved into local flea markets,
where the stories shared by knowledgeable vendors enriched my understanding of vintage eyewear. This passion inspired me to cultivate my own collection, supported bypart-time work as a photographer and musician.
As my appreciation for vintage eyewear blossomed, I felt a powerful urge to share my passion with others. I embarked on the journey of selling vintage glasses, and for nearly a decade, this endeavor became my main source of income. Yet, deep within me, a yearning to explore new creative horizons sparked.
A chance encounter with an intriguing image of Le Corbusier's iconic eyewear design ignited a transformative moment in my creative journey. I was immediately captivated by the unique aesthetics of the frames, which blended boldness with elegance. Inspired by this. I resolved to desion my own version that would reflect my personal style and artistic vision.
